Warranty Information

At Iron Tactical Gear, we stand behind the quality of our products. This page explains warranty coverage for items purchased from www.irontactical.store.
Understanding Warranties
Most products we sell come with a manufacturer's warranty, not a store warranty. This means the manufacturer—not Iron Tactical Gear—is responsible for warranty claims.
Important Distinction
-
Defects covered by warranty: Manufacturing defects, material flaws (contact manufacturer)
-
Issues not covered by warranty: Normal wear and tear, misuse, or buyer's remorse (see our Return Policy)
Manufacturer Warranty Coverage
What's Typically Covered
Most manufacturers cover:
-
Manufacturing defects: Stitching failures, zipper malfunctions, material separation
-
Material defects: Fabric tears (not caused by use), hardware failures, buckle breaks
-
Workmanship issues: Poor construction that causes the item to fail under normal use
Coverage Period: Typically 30 days to 1 year from purchase date (varies by brand)
What's NOT Covered
Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover:
-
Normal wear and tear: Fading, scuffs, worn fabric from regular use
-
Misuse or abuse: Damage from improper use, modifications, or exceeding weight limits
-
Accidents: Cuts, burns, pet damage, vehicle accidents
-
Improper care: Damage from incorrect cleaning or storage
- Lost or stolen items
-
Cosmetic issues: Minor color variations, loose threads that don't affect function

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: My vest started falling apart after 2 months. Is this covered?
A: Yes, if it's a manufacturing defect (bad stitching, material failure). Contact the manufacturer with your proof of purchase.
Q: My boots wore out after 6 months of daily use. Can I get a replacement?
A: Normal wear and tear is not covered. However, if the sole separated or stitching failed under normal use, this may be a warranty issue.
Q: Can I return body armor if I don't like the fit?
A: Body armor can be returned only if unused and within 30 days. Once used, it cannot be returned for safety reasons.
Q: I lost my receipt. Can I still make a warranty claim?
A: Contact us at cs@irontactical.store with your order number or email address. We can provide proof of purchase.
Q: The manufacturer denied my warranty claim. What now?
A: Contact us with details. If the denial seems unfair, we'll try to advocate on your behalf. However, the manufacturer has final say on warranty decisions.
